The TRUTH is only in Philosophy and Science, not Religion. As the former governor of the state of Minnesota, Jesse Ventura, put it: Religion is the crutch of those who are mentally weak. Children come first to mind as mentally weak; they are more easily manipulated. Societies do not allow voting before the age of 18. Drinking alcohol is not allowed until the age of maturity. Something similar should be done about religion. Let it be a free choice of mature individuals, not forced upon mentally weak children. A new Law should go into effect worldwide: All humans shall have a birthright to be free from religion. They shall be eligible to choose any religion, to the liking or disliking of their ancestors, or to choose continuation of freedom from religion, not before the calendar year their age shall reach 18 years. And the choice, at the age of 18, shall be performed in a court of law, and a certificate of choice shall be issued. So help us God!

Religion should remain only an issue of privacy, something like meditation is. Religion is totally inept in searching for Truth, or debating the truth. Religious "knowledge" can be summarized as follows:

Thunder is a fart of the dominant god in the area.

Xenophanes, the wise Ancient Greek, put it so eloquently in philosophical poetry! Thunder is a case of Cosmic Indigestion.

I remember the Gypsies in my native village. Yes, during Communism! The segregation was blunt and cruel. The "whites" (the natives!) justified their intense hatred towards the Gypsies on religious grounds. The Gypsies were not Christians, but pagans! The droughts in that farming area were devastating, especially to the Gypsies. They had no right to land-property. When the rain fell after drought, the Gypsies were much happier than the "natives".

Even before the rain, the White Christians of my native village would pay the barely-dressed Gypsies to pray the non-Gypsy God for fertile rain! The frantic social rituals were called Ruga (The Prayer). Ruga was always orchestrated by the local church, the local priest being the conductor. The frenzies were very-special-guest attended by the regional religious leader (Mitropolit) sometimes. The bigoted white Christians believed that God was more sympathetic to the more suffering Gypsies, who were kind of illegitimate children of His semen! The Gypsies would jump-dance in the heavy life-giving rain and chant in dozens-strong choirs:

We thank you for peeing upon us, God! Heavenly Father, we implore you to keep peeing upon us!

The church always benefitted materially from those savage-like rituals. People donated as much money or goods as they could afford to. Consciously under-contributing was considered a deadly sin. YES, people were murdered for disregarding those frenzies or non-contributing! After all, God counted on those offerings to survive and turn on the knob of that natural tap-water!

Believe blindly and unconditionally what your parents and society forced you to do since a very crude age! Mental programming is tremendously more effective when done at an early age. I was very religious when I was young because my parents and grandparents put a lot of pressure on me to be religious. The religious success of my ancestors regarding my behavior is remarkable. After all, I grew up and was educated under Communism, a forcefully atheistic form of government. Nevertheless, Communism was religion sui generis. The communists executed the gods in heaven and replaced them with divinity-like dictators.

I came to the Land of Religious Freedom — and that's where I consciously abandoned all my religious beliefs! I became a totally rational man. I call myself a Zero-mysticism human. The United States is, by far, the most religious nation in the Christian world. I teasingly call USA ... ISA. Islamic States of America.

In fact, religion is so incredibly strong in ISA ... pardon me!... USA ... that most presidential candidates are so fearfully spineless that they toot-and-tout they are sincere "religious believers"! A few candidates are, in truth, religious fanatics (ultra Christians) — as they don't believe in theory of evolution! But, at least, they are truthful — when they say they believe in God, they don't lie.

What a contradiction, compared to the anti-religious Founding Fathers and early U.S. Presidents! George Washington hated church going so much, that he abandoned his church altogether! John Adams had harsh words towards religious people — he considered them a bunch of idiots! Abraham Lincoln had also strong anti-religious feelings, although he disguised them pretty well in that tragically stormy era. Thomas Jefferson was so wise in religious matters that he realized that only government neutrality would save America from the tragic religious fervor that devastated Europe in the Dark Ages and soon after Renaissance.

Alas, Thomas Jefferson was such an insanely strong advocate for slavery and racism! Some cynics explain: It was so because he had no God! Still, how many loving Christians today strongly advocate and even condone racism? Virtually all advocates of slavery were devoted Christians. Their "God-loving" mentality led to the Civil War. Virtually all racists in the U.S. today are devoted Christians. Fortunately, their "God-loving" filthy minds virtually lead only to disgust in the sane society at large.

Foregone-conclusion poll #1: What is the percentage of children who successfully opposed the religious imposition upon them by their parents or grandparents?
Answer: Virtually ZERO.
