No more than 3 or 4 Powerball winning players: Why?

Really? Why don't you go to powerball.com and follow the link that shows how many people won each prize. I think you would be surprized to see that the payout in each category remains very close each and every week.

I understand odds very well. If the numbers were drawn randomly as you say then the odds are that every once in a while there would be 100 or so people that picked the correct numbers to share in the grand prize. Never in the history of Powerball has there been more than 3 or 4.

Do you ever let the lottery's computer generate your numbers? If you did you would see that they avoid giving certain numbers and obviously combinations of those numbers. They know ahead of time what numbers will be drawn and their computer portions out the numbers accordingly. I challenge anyone to prove that they've ever won multiple 3rd tier prizes whether the numbers were generated by the computer or by themselves.

The lotteries do care how much and how many and where the prizes are given out. They make certain each drawing that no particular area will have drastically more prizes than any other with similar demographics.

They need people in every area to win sometimes so that the people will keep playing. By the same token they make sure the grand prize makes it's rounds to every region.

The New Mexico winner of the Powerball is the perfect example. NM had only recently added Powerball and in order for the fever to really hit and ticket sales to soar, obviously it would be good if someone in New Mexico won.

"See you can win. Now everyone make sure you get in on the action. You never know."

When the lottery "will decide" to pay out in that area again.

The evidence for the numbers actually being drawn random pales in comparison to that of it being a rigged game. But nobody will speak up because they want the lottery even if it is a sham. Because they never really know if they'll be next. There's nothing like people that pay to be defrauded.

I don't think the lottery cares at all if there are any winners as they get the percentage for the state if no player wins or if 10 people win. : What I'm beginning to believe is that the lottery has different sets of numbers that it may play, depending on how they want the lotto prizes distributed, and whether or not it's apparent that a certain combination of numbers running were randomly selected by the player or chosen based on patterns and mathematics. Many lottery players suspect lottery commissions of foul ply: Fraud, that is. They wonder why only 3 or 4 players in a state win. They expect more winners in every U.S. state, including a less populated one such as New Mexico. Truth is, the lottery commissions, including Powerball Lottery USA, have no reasons to cheat. They take out 50% of all sales!
